This case study shows how a custom warehouse platform can unify receiving, transfers, reservations and dispatch without forcing the team to abandon the rules that already work.
The team needed a system that reflected physical warehouse work without burdening operators with unnecessary administration.
The business problem
Teams maintained separate spreadsheets and confirmed availability by phone. Movement history was not detailed enough to resolve discrepancies quickly.
Receiving, transfers and adjustments lacked a shared audit history. Stocktaking required operations to stop, while management reports arrived days after month end.
The proposed solution
We designed role-specific interfaces for warehouse operators and managers, a central stock ledger and a traceable history for every movement.
Accounting remained the source for financial documents while the new platform owned operational inventory. An event-based integration synchronised items, orders and completed movements with monitoring around every exchange.

An item can arrive by pallet, be stored by case and sold individually with exact conversion.
Transition without closure
Each facility used a controlled count and its own cutover window.
Demonstration outcomes
Demo outcome: shorter order handling, accurate shared inventory and materially faster discrepancy investigation. The indicators represent a realistic scenario six months after full rollout.
